Features
Interface
NC Gage’s easy-to-use interface allows you to instinctively follow the procedures to create a program (macro). Guidelines for completing each task are shown graphically along with on-screen textual instructions.
Updating Work Offsets

NC Gage supports setting a work offset by measuring a point, ID, OD, Inside Corner, and Outside Corner. For instance, two axes can be set by measuring a bore. Simply position the probe inside the bore, select the work offset to update, and press Create. NC Gage will drive the probe to measure the bore, ask you to verify the offset information, and then update the work offset.
Inspection of Features

NC Gage allows you to measure a number of features. These include point, ID, OD, notch, web, outside corner, inside corner, plane, line, inside cylinder, outside cylinder, inside cone, outside cone, and sphere.
Construction of Features

NC Gage allows you to construct points, lines, and circles from previously measured or constructed features.
Dimension Features

Each NC Gage feature has typical location and size dimensions that are automatically included in the report. For relevant feature types, form can also be included. After the NC Gage program is executed, features are evaluated based on their nominal, measured, and tolerance information.
Additional dimensions can be requested for angles and distances.
Reporting
When an NC Gage program has completed, a report is generated. You can view, save, and print this report. In addition, you can send it to a statistical database.
